About the website
This site www.cartestingmaze.eu has been put together by The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) as part of a project on sustainable mobility. It exposes the problems with the way cars are tested and checked in Europe today and shows how the current situation could be improved in the future.
BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation, defends the interests of all Europe’s consumers and represents 42 independent national consumer organisations from 31 European countries. BEUC acts as the umbrella group in Brussels for these organisations.
BEUC investigates EU decisions and developments likely to affect consumers, with a special focus on areas identified as priorities by our members: Financial Services, Food, Digital Rights, Consumer Rights & Enforcement, Sustainability, Trade, Safety and Health.
